Yesterday disco with Tensnake, today, synthetic is getting deep and warm under Reiner Mauch’s machines and his sweet singer Lady Puma. While listening to this remix for Abe Duque and some demos recently gathered, I bet way more than a coin on the success of this new talented electronic duo as insolent than promising.

Frankly, I think I could easily satisfy myself with synthetic in my everyday life. In music, I mean, because the 80’s turtlenecks which itch and put your hair up, I’m less into it somehow. About the young German synthboy Tensnake obviously obsessed by Jellybean’s disco and winks to Human League, I truly love him more [...]

Since weeks, the last release of Mike Mind on Turbo leads me close to the orgasm each time I listen to it, and me, instead of posting an extract right away, I leave the project in stagnation in my dashboard. Pfff.

Unbelievable but true, somewhere in San Francisco, some rockers sound like a clever and inspired mix between two bands worshipped here : Super Furry Animals & Gorky’s Zygotic Minci.

Follow up of my (4 real) Shoegazing’ series, today, one of the only interesting band on 4AD : Lush. Some pretty delicate girls’ voices lost in a heavy fog of guitar effects, no doubt, Lush masters its subject (and its melodies) on Etheriel, last track of its first record in 1989.
